As part of the ongoing program of NDF assets immediate exploitation, Major-General Mr. Stathias Georgios escorted by Mr. Zisimatos Georgios, specialised advisor to the Minister of National Defence on issues concerning property exploitation and Mrs. Paliodimou Aikaterini special advisor, visited the island of Crete. The visit took place during the period 21 to 24 June 2016. During the visit, an on-site inspection of NDF property was carried out followed by important cooperative meetings with Mr. Arnaoutakis Stavros Regional Governor of Crete, Mr. Koukiadakis Euripides Vice-Regional Governor of Crete, Heraklion Mayor Mr Labrinos Vasilios, Mayor of Minoas Valley Mr. Kalogerakis Zacharias, the Phaistos Mayor Mr Armoutakis Georgios, airport master of the A / D Heraklion Mr. Pliakas Georgios. Similarly, there was cooperation with the Governor Infantry Reserve Officer School (SEAP) Brigadier Mr. John Efstathiou and the Commander of the 5th Infantry Brigade Mr. Alexandros Alexiou monitoring estate matters of their responsibility.
