Visit – Partnership with Mayor of Heraklion ( October 05 , 2016) |

On Wednesday, October 05, 2016, the Heraklion MP Mr. Socrates Vardakis, and the Mayor of Heraklion Mr. Vasilios Lamprinos, visited the National Defence Fund (NDF) Headquarters in Plaka, accompanied by:
- · Mr. John Rasouli, Deputy Mayor of Spatial and Urban Planning, and
- · Mr. John Anastasaki, Deputy Mayor of Technical Services
During the visit they discussed issues of mutual interest, regarding the use of inactive camps "BETEINAKI" and "GIAKOUMAKI", especially the request of the Municipality of Heraklion, regarding the granting of a short section of 6 acres on Camp "BETEINAKI", for the construction of a school.
The meeting was constructive and beneficial.
